I was going to joke with you that the only way I might understand trading is because your OCD (not claiming you have it) with owning a black car. Whenever I see a clean 911 in black it is stunning, and in the targa it just looks proper.

Sounds like the you have the perfect use case for any Targa and Burmeister, No track time, no driving fast, mostly cruising.

But as most people have stated it is just preference, and once you have that thought it your head about another GTS its hard to get it out.

I love Targas and came close to trading my C2 in for one in late 2020/early 21, but after driving around with the sunroof wide open a few times on bright sunny days, I was quickly reminded that I don’t like the sun beating down on me in the car. Still love the look and gawk every time I see one, but I’m a coupe + sunroof kind of guy.

Side note, aside from the beautiful Targa in the pic above, I couldn’t help but also notice the sea of white cars in the background and thought how dystopian it seems in the neighborhood. And I love my white cars too, we have three of them!
