See post above.

...and since when is TST a reliable source of info? Matt Farah is a lazy **** and is notorious for misquoting tech info.

No offense, but you didn’t actually provide a source, at least when it comes to the T. Farah is working off a set of notes, presumably provided by the Porsche reps that handed him the car, although I agree that is not definitive which is why I wondered if someone had another actual reference.

It’s in the Porsche press release, the Carrera-T comes standard with the PASM-Sport suspension that is available as an option on the Carrera-S.

Found some more Current info via the T press Release and GTS press release on Porsche Media website... To me, it appears to be the GTS suspension minus the helper springs on the T... but unfortunately there are no specific numbers... but identical descriptions...

Sorry to say, but there is nothing in what you posted that indicates what you claim. Further, it would not be possible to install the GTS/turbo main springs without the helper springs in the rear...

Not intending to change anything on my T suspension... I specifically wrote that they are not providing detailed numbers... Just sharing that they describe them the as identical and call them the same "Sport PASM" with reduced ride height (-10mm) and on the website they both have identical clearance at 4.5in... Just sharing more data points

My point is that the -T CANNOT have the same rear springs as the GTS since it is not possible to have them without the use of helper springs (they would be too short). And yes, all S-PASM equipped car have the same -10mm ride height relative to the regular PASM cars, but it does not mean the suspension components are the same.

Understood on the first part... thought you were telling me "I" couldn't make the change... I'll be interested to see what the specific numbers/differences are in the components themselves once they actually release them... Frustrating how little of the T information has been provided even to those of us who have the car ordered and going into build phase in a couple weeks... I didn't even get to see a sample of my paint before I ordered it... Oh well, im sure I will love it

Nope, I never said nor implied that.

While Porsche have not published the actual spring rates for the -T, everything in their pres material is pretty clear cut that the -T comes with the same S-PASM as the -S. With the GTS, the Porsche material was very clear that it came with the turbo S-PASM.

The T is faster than a Turbo S?! Gotta be a typo.

Even the Carrera S is listed as faster 1/4 mile than Turbo S.

I’m starting to think Porsche should just get rid of all other Carrera trims except for the T. It is the do it all super duper most specialist car ever.

Porsche has published remarkably little technical data of any real value on the 992; that chart @CanAutM3 shared in post 75 above as I recall came from a YouTube video published by savagegeese, apparently out of a document from Porsche themselves but if someone has the actual source document I haven’t seen it shared. Maybe once one of you with a T on order gets the car we can get a T, an S, a GTS, and a Turbo together, pull the springs and measure them .
