Default Your best sound out of Burmester.......

So I am adjusting my details on my Burmester and struggling a bit to determine what is the best combo. Can somebody chime in and give me a bit of advise please. Live, Surround, Other? Bass settings, Treble settings, Balance settings, Fader settings etc. I understand we all hear differently, just looking for a good starting point. I listing to mostly 80's soft-medium rock tunes. TIA

I set mine to surround, low on base to save speakers, higher on treble, fader a little to the right since I sit on the left, and balance a little towards the back since I sit up front. This works for me, but everyone is different.

Good choice in getting the Burmester. If you enjoy listening to music when you drive, a 125+K car deserves no less. There is a very discernable difference from Bose. Drive it in comfort mode and enjoy, put it into Sport Plus and just turn it up a bit-no distortion.

I tend to swap between these two settings.

Pure (70% of the time)
Bass: +1
Treble: -1
Balance and fader: Even

Surround (30% of the time)
Bass: +3
Treble: -2
Balance and fader: Even

Font doors lined with SoundShield plus the Lightweight and Noise Insulated glass help.

My car (2022 4 GTS) cannot seem to remember either setting though. I frequently get back in the car and find the settings reset back to zero.

Any advice on how to fix that would be much appreciated.

I usually go Pure in the 992 TTS- I would usually go Surround in the 991.2 TTS.

My bass is about +2 treble about +3

Just seeing this. No, Musicar lined my doors with SoundShield. It definitely makes a positive difference.

Always in Pure, usually Bass +2 and Treble +1. The other modes sound too artificial for my tastes.

FWIW my car recently figured out how to remember these. Not sure if it was thanks to a campaign the dealer performed, an OTA update, or some change in my usage patterns, but the past few times I remember looking my settings have been preserved! it's the little things lol
