992 Change Speedometer Mile to Km (Center Console)
Hi ,
Bought 2022 911 922 S with US Spec from Germany and now trying to change speed in the center console from miles to Kilometer.
Note: that in the setup , then unit, speed already changed to KM. But the Console speeds in miles
Can someone help?
The Center Console
In Setup , the unites have been change to KM

When I did ED with a US spec car, the guys at Leipzig said it wasn’t possible to change the center speed, only the dial on the left side. Perhaps they mean it wasn’t “user-changeable” and a dealer may be able to do it?
I thought that was highly unusual.

Not possible, at least according to everything that’s been posted and discussed here by people who’ve had the same issue. Seems that part of the display has the units hardcoded / or actually cut into the display and is not part of the configurable settings.

Hi aggie57, yes I have read some of posts here. But I know certain Porsche model (older) is possible to interchange mph & KM. Since this model is digital, its likely to change.

That's what we all thought too but AFAIK nobody has been able to come up with how to on the 992 short of physically replacing the dial. Happy to be corrected of course.

I had the issue a long time ago and ended up returning the car because of it. You can’t change it yourself. One person here discovered later on, they had the dealer change the “country code” of the car and it worked.
