…and there is an ongoing study that will show GTS owners have a higher level of insecurity….😎 No doubt, it will be mentioned in the next Nick Murray video?

LOL, I actually think you have that backwards. It's the 911/911S owners that continue to obsess over GTS threads!

Great charts... "it's just math" / area-under-the-curve - check your calculus book

For my use, the C2S is much better as a 'daily' on the street than a GT3 would ever be, especially so with the tighter gearing of the 8 speed PDK which helps to keep things in the fat part of the torque curve. OTOH the GT3 would be more entertaining at the track near the peaky redline but objectively needs a lot more shift work to keep it 'on boil'. YMMV / horses for courses.

we’ve seen it all now…

718>911, base>S, S>GTS, GTS>GT3…if we keep going the 928 with a 3 speed auto is going to be named the ultimate drivers Porsche.

I have had (2) GT3s and no doubt my GTS is just a better car for the streets. It just does every thing so well. Jack of all trades and so glad I have one

But - the GT3 is just such an emotional beast and that is what makes it so special. It used to get my heart racing every time I took her out for a weekend blast. You sort of had to prepare yourself, mentally, when you were prepared to jump in the cockpit.

Neither better than the other. Just different

I don't like my GT3 for daily driving. The engine is a bit temperamental in that it wants to be warmed up and it's not happy until it is fully warmed up. If you start it and turn it off without letting it warm up, there is a good chance you get some white smoke on the start up (which is harmless) because Race Car. All that makes the car interesting and characterful and when the engine is fully warmed up, the engagement and excitement of driving it is on another level.

But for something that I need to use as a practical, functional car that needs to be used for daily driving - I would also prefer a GTS. The GT3 is ideal as a third/fourth car, weekend only thing which is what I use it for. In that scenario it's head and shoulders the best car I've owned. If I was only allowed one car that I also used to drive to work, etc - the GTS is the better option, but I would still miss the GT3 greatly.
