(they all look good). None of the colors speak to me as "the one" so the choice is difficult.

Really surprised to see the relatively even distribution too. Python being the big winner and Carmine Red and black being the least. I like the bold colors though so good to see that popularity this time around. Lava Orange was stunning on the 991T and I don't think anyone really knew that until it was too late. I wish it were available on the 992!
Agreed. I went with black with the idea of doing a Brewster Green liquid wrap but if this was not an option, Python was my choice for a relatively inexpensive color option that I love. Downside is, it's too loud and good for a track/weekend only car but this will be more of a daily/date car for me.

Gentian here
high gloss black sports design
Standard interior
i wanna give it a punch to the therwise black interior.
is this (shark blue seat belts) too risky?
anyone knows what is ghe worst case scenario? (Cost to change them after )

Tachometer is white. I know option to go silver on seatbelts but i kind of want a pop.
Also yellow was considered but no other yellow in the car.

There's a thread on 718 forums about changing belts. I did mine. It's a DIY project for $350. Or dealer for over 5x that.

So now I'm considering the most popular color (python) or one of the least (yellow). Both bold! I think python works best with the lizard T interior pack, so going green requires a not insignificant ~$4500 of extra green. That's enough to pay for the sport design front on the yellow. It's funny, I've bought a LOT of vehicles, many custom ordered, and I usually know exactly what I want quickly, but not with this T. I can't even finally decide on a color!

Maybe because deep down you know this car is going to be worth keeping for the long haul?? Truth is you really cant go wrong with any of those color choices... Its going to look great and be desirable in any color (even more so the bold choices) in my opinion. T is a unique and smaller quantity build, so it deserves a special/fun color.

I had a gentian 992 that I sold last summer and still regret it, the car was beautiful, I should have kept it. I had no interest in gentian until I saw the car I bought in person sitting in the sunlight, ownership only made me love it more. I love the color and think it will look spectacular with the gloss black you are going to be VERY happy with that color choice. Personally I like the yellow belts with gentian, maybe a yellow tach and or crono dial to tie it in? Yellow deviated would be fantastic with the belts and really give it a pop but that is a pretty pricey option I realize.

I think the shark blue would be OK but the yellow would look more special. My .02

I have Shark Blue on my CGTS40 and can tell you it's a show stopper. I love it more every day, and I loved it from day one! Bought it sight-unseen since it was brand new to the Cayman when I ordered it. In fact, if I didn't have the Cayman, or if I was selling it, I'd get the 911T in Shark.

Gentian is a great colour. The only reason I didn't choose it was because I didn't want two cars in the same colour. Agree that it looks really good with gloss black.

Yea my 992 that I just pre traded for the T was gentian... fantastic color. It looks like a beautiful shade of purple in some lights, and then electric blue in others. I am going Rubystar over another gentian just because it is a color I've always loved on the old 964. This T might be a car I keep forever, but I certainly hope/plan to have another P car in gentian at some point. Here are a couple shots of my 992 (first one is me on Thompson Speedway... couple others from around Cape Cod/Boston area

Default Gentian Blue versus Shark Blue

Gentian Blue is very pretty! I've received lots of compliments on my Taycan in that color.

It's a very classy color, but I'm thinking it's a bit too subtle for a 911. Especially since the Carrera T is my "consolation prize" for never being able to get a GT3 at MSRP, I'm looking forward to having the T in the GT3's launch color!

Also makes me sad it's not available on 992T ...

What a beaut! If Lava was on offer this time around, I wouldn’t still be debating between Guards and Python all day long (only 30 days out from my lock date)!

Anyone interested in a color specifically because it is less common or of less interest? Even if that could mean it is more often seen as an ugly or weird color that could negatively affect resale?

Part of me wants to reverse watermelon and go ruby star neo + lizard interior but I don't think I could muster the courage. I think in 20 years if anyone does this it will be looked at as a crazy, cool and rare combo regardless of how it looks.

We tend to see the T as something more special than an Carrera or Carrera S thus a special color is always nice. The point for me is: in the Netherlands there was only 1 991.2 T sold in red with a manual and 2 with a PDK. So only 3 cars. In the USA around 120 guards red right? Considered how big the USA is. What does it really matter? Every color seems exclusive with a Porsche 911 let alone a 992 T. I don’t see so many Porsches on the road. It’s not like we are buying a Toyota or VW or Ford and looking for something “exclusive”. When I see a 991.2 T in the wild I just go crazy. They are so rare already you will never hear me complain about the color

Another thing is that the most chosen colors are chosen for a reason. And there is a reason it’s not black or grey here like most BMW or Mercedes cars etc.

Really can’t wait for all the pictures of the delivered cars in the next few months. Are we going to start a thread for this? Seems a good idea considered the big T thread.
