Default Any useful voice commands?

So far the voice command feature has been more annoyance than convenience for me given the prominent placement of the button on the steering wheel. Has anyone found any useful commands, or perhaps a way to deactivate the button or remap it to Siri?

Hold the button down and you’ll get Siri instead.

A few things i've found helpful:

1) It's useful for navigation - "Take me to...." without having to fiddle with the PCM, especially when moving
2) You can ask it to play a specific SiriusXM station ("Play Underground Garage on SiriusXM")
3) If you have the option it will turn on the ionization feature (which seems to be even more forgetful than the sound settings..) ("Turn on ionization")

While i occasionally accidentally hit the button (hitting it again "turns it off") I found it more convenient and faster than saying "Hey Porsche"

I use it to activate Siri, by holding it down an extra second, and then ask Siri to call a person in my iPhone contacts.

These are the PCM voice commands I use most frequently:
  1. Show map
  2. Cancel navigation
  3. Play Sirius Chill

I keep asking it for the winning lottery numbers but it doesn't work. Piece of junk.

I’ve heard that only works with Alexa.

I told my wife the other day that I thought Mark Zuckerberg was listening to us. She laughed. Alexa laughed. Siri laughed.

I know you can use to change the temperature but seems daft when it’s easier to press the switch. I wonder if you can turn autoblip on and off?!

I tried asking it to turn auto blip off and it said something about not being able to change climate controls through voice command (not sure what it thought I was asking it) which is funny because you can use voice commands to turn on ionization (Which I discovered by accident. It misunderstood a command and said it was turning on Ionization, so, happy accident)

I also tried turning off stop /start with voice but that didn't work either, it thought I was giving it a nav command.

I have not found the voice command thing to be useful on my 992 or any other car.

I tried today and got the same as you. I could change the temperature of the aircon though.

Most useful learning from this thread for me is that if you hold the voice command button for a few seconds it presents Siri. I didn’t know that and a go to of mine in another car.

Voice commands for my wife’s 2023 Lexus are the easiest and quickest way to achieve a variety of actions - climate, radio, nav, phone, text etc.

Trying to select these features through the Lexus on screen menu is a nightmare !!!!
