For those on the fence because they haven’t seen the color in person…..I say GO FOR IT. I was in the same boat with Shark Blue. I had one of the first Shark Blue cars in the country(USA). I obsessed over my choice for the same reasons y’all are. I gambled and went for it. There is even a color that VW used on other products called “Cornflower Blue”…with the exact same paint code. It did not look all that great on those products and I still went for it. I even loaded it up with yellow trim on the inside(stitching. Belts. Dials. Etc.). My gamble paid off. And I am willing that yours would too. The car came out amazing and of course everyone piled on the Shark Blue bandwagon after us “trailblazers”. Be unique and do it. One of the reasons for your success in life and your ability to afford a car like this is from taking chances. I really think it will look fantastic…especially on a GT car and a car like the T. Just do it. I am willing to bet you will love it!!!

Another thing that factors into it is the car you are ordering. Mine was a Spyder. Hard to screw that car up aesthetically. I would say the same about a 911. My point being, it is already a beautiful car. A color generally won’t change that. And in this case, it enhances the car and makes it look Unique. If you do go this route, don’t hold back on other parts of the spec. I went into it with a “theme” in mind….namely Blue/Yellow/Black. I would do the same here. It is a bold color. You need to make bold choices everywhere else on the car to really make it pop. To make it special. Because it is a special car. I wouldn’t just choose this color and then make the same choices you would on a black or silver car. GO crazy. Like Aurum wheels would be amazing with this color…and I don’t like those color wheels generally. Black calipers. Black out all of the Logos or delete them if you can’t. Don’t allow any silver/chrome on the exterior. And then maybe go with an aggressive color for stitching. You could go the yellow route. Very bold but it would be pretty damn cool. Anyway….all things that I went through when I ordered my car. And when people see my car the underlying sentiment is(other than they love it), “I never would have thought to do it that way”. Again, go at it with a “collective” view for the whole car. A theme!! Good luck. Very exciting times for y’all and I absolutely love Ruby Star!!! Pics of my car to give you an idea.

WOOOHOOO!!! That’s the spirit!!! I am so excited for you. Sounds like a badass spec. I did edit my post and added some more sentiments about the spec’ing process!

If someone really objects to their new RubyStar neo T, couldn't it be wrapped; n a PTS color pretty easily? Seems like there is a lot of unneeded stress about the color.

Mine is bought. Was supposed to pick up at PECLA yesterday but couldn't make it at last minute. Hopefully will be shipped within next few days.
