I understand that, but it doesn’t change the fact that both of these individuals were highly disappointed in the paint once seeing the car in person.

 

Rubystone was never "almost purplely" that YouTuber is just talking out of his ***. Compare the sunlight shots from the video to the pictures on this RS for sale on Bring a Trailer right now... they both look pink to me! Sure the GT4RS has a considerable clear coat on it... but acting like you were misled.... give me a break.

Well guys I made the switch over to Python Green since my freeze date is 1/24 and talk of builds locking early, but very willing and may switch back.

Rubystar PTS on a Sport Classic is bold but kind of like it.

I don’t want this thread to go stale so if anyone has new images/sightings or new details from the dealership please share.

For my part, I tried to lodge a complaint with PCNA by calling them(very little interest in even hearing me out). I get it probably focused on many bigger issues. The agent kept referring to my dealer. I did bring up the configurator images. Asking if the images for PTS vs neo were mistakenly switched which she said she would make an inquiry/complaint. Whether she did or not who knows. I tried asking for a reference number to follow up but said there wouldn’t be one.

Also asked my dealer again and nothing new and was not very optimistic he would get anything.

 

I am humbled by the courage of those that are able to order this color. It could work out. Or.....

 

Yup. Almost daily, I think about texting my SA to have them change the color on my order but have not worked up the courage.

 

So my freeze date is 1/24 not 2/24 typo on my part. I changed my post above so hopefully the sense of urgency makes more sense.

 

Isn't Neo more pinkish than PTS ruby star ??

The opposite according to Porsche. Neo is darker with less saturation, and they claim it will be more of a purple than a Pink/Red
