haha. I get it. But you know my point was that 911 production was going up and the argument was that it's staying flat. But, yeah, yeah. I hear ya' . I used three year old data. lol. I did see the numbers for 2022/3 and didn't post them. lol

Bottom line is they are building more 911s than ever before.

Calls now from two dealers in the greater LA area for MSRP. I also saw this headline on one of the dealers website:

"McKenna Porsche has acquired new 2024 911s from dealers across the U.S."

Maybe the last of the 992.1's might be moving to dealers that have a better chance of selling them (speculation)

Right. Maybe LA (bigger mkt) dealerships are trading allocations for other cars for the last of the .1s

Does this mean a general slowing of sales on luxury cars or is it that people would prefer the .2 over .1 (ignoring the hybrid, manual trans, etc, for the moment)

Probably some of both. Many are concerned about depreciation and typically older gen cars depreciate more when the newer generation is available. Some also want the latest and greatest. I'm just glad I'm not yearning for the .2 at this time, save some $ and the discussion with the wife.
