Were you letting go of the gas at some crest? If so then 100% the car front end will have little grip as it’s not settled

No, tires were set to Full Load (door sill) pressures instead of Partial Load pressures. I experienced this myself in a 991.2 - harsh ride and rear end moving around (oscillating really) a lot during hard cornering - and it all went away at the lower pressures. It was truly a night and day difference so I knew to check when I took delivery of my 992 (dealer had inflated to Full Load because of lawyers, I’m sure). Better than the transport pressures (60psi to prevent flat spotting) that my Audi was delivered with.
