MEMBERS HELPING MEMBERS….PYTHON GREEN CONTENT
#16
I have never regretted choosing a bright color, but I have regretted choosing a more conservative color. One of my regrets was not going with Krypton Green when I purchased a new Camaro in 2017. My family members called it "godawful green" and I chickened out and went with a more conservative blue, but I was always jealous when I saw a KG one on the road. Never again will I let others influence my color choices on a car! I'm undecided on what color to go with when my allocation comes through, but until then my garage has a bright orange GT350 and a bright yellow S2000!

I hear you! I like the skittles colors and have not regretted it when I've made that choice. I have had some good looking black, white and silver cars, but it's the bright colors that are the most fun. I chose an Inferno Orange Z06 over the more subtle blue. Had both a Silverstone and Spa Yellow S2000 and loved the Spa Yellow much more. I had a Rally Green Camaro, which although a very dark green was very unusual with a lot of flake that sparkled in the sun - tons of compliments. I had a Racing Yellow 991.2 and am pretty sure I am going with Racing Yellow again on the 992 T. I do like the Python, Shark and Ruby Star too though. My PTS favs would be Bahama Yellow, Gulf Orange, or Mexico Blue.

Saw some amazing cars in Atlanta earlier this week. Gonna try and upload some pictures. Enjoy.

This is the 911S we visited to see the color in person. Adam Likey.

My stupid phone won't let me post the pictures and write anything about them. The blue 911 is called Azurro California Blue and was a special edition 2006 Porsche Club Coupe celebrating Porsche Club of America's 50th anniversary. Only 50 were built, and even as a PTS, the color is not available. It's gorgeous seeing it in person. The Green 911 is a 1973 Carrera RT (I think that's correct) and hard to believe this is a $2.5 million dollar car. Crazy.

I don’t think there’s a wrong choice, as I said ….it’s all personal. If the person who picks it and drives it, loves it….that’s all that counts!

My Python green GTS is in production now and has/(had) an ETA of 1/6/23. I’m not holding my breath on it showing then, but hopefully not much longer!

I’d have to agree…that’d be a tough choice for me as well. Without seeing them side by side live…and if forced to pick…I’d go PG, just due to the fact that I like green as a color a bit more than orange.

What is the history of Python Green? Is it a renamed classic or former PTS color or is it more modern? Was it a debut color on any particular generation or model car? How do the lizard green dials/interior features match with the Python green exterior? Congratulations!
