Hi All. First a little intro. I have an allocation on a April build. I have an agreement with the dealer to spend $5k in exclusive manufacture options...theyre trying to become an exclusive dealer. The SA chose some frivolous stuff that I would never use and/or pay for.

So here's the question for you guys. What options would you choose? Here's what I have so far:

1. Side skirts 1290
2. Puddle lights 160
3. Engine cover in tit 460
4. Illuminated taillight gills 170
5. Prep for dash 130
6. Center Console Lid with Porsche Crest 340
6. Central Tachometer in Guards Red 420 (I didn't do the clock in red cause I could DIY for 80 although I will add it of need be)
6. illuminated door sills CF 1280 (black alum would work also)

Total 4,250

So need 750- 1k more or a completely different line up as I'm not committed to any of these options. Caveats. I wont do seatbelts or the high exterior package.

Please give me some advice. I've been at it for more than three hours and I'm stumped.

I would only pick items you can't upgrade essily yourself later. Most of the items you have would fall into that category.

So, I would focus in exclusively leather interior options, for example, instead.

If you add the PDK Gear Selector in Aluminum (assuming not manual) at $750, you're done.

Can you post your current build? I have some ideas but want to see what your designing first for it to make sense.

This was the build the dealer put together originally. I changed some of the options to the list above.

I'm all about the engine covered in tit.

Seriously though is scrap what you have and do sport design package, alum pdk, and dashcam.

Edit: just saw this is a GTS build.

What would you guys suggest? I really feel most all of the leather options are a complete ripoff. Ie. I really struggled with adding porsche logo on the center console, but it's the best of the worst for me.

As it's a Cab, I would opt for the Porsche logo on the front headrests rather than the center console. As one who actually likes to rest my arm on the center console, I'm not sure that resting on the logo would be super comfortable. Also, am curious why the CF door sills -- I did not see any other CF trim on the car (unless I just missed it due to the late hour).

Hmmm. I hadnt thought of that. Probably walk around with the logo embossed on my right forearm.

Keen eye. I prefer the black aluminum but I'm trying to get to $5k. I feel like Richard Pryor in Brewsters Millions.

I am sorry but that build sheet looks random to me. Some added leather here, some CFthere, some black alimunm over there...not sure what the goal is here..or just to find a random combo of add on to hit a dollar amount to the penny. Don't get it.

OK, got it. Again, since a Cab and you'll be driving a lot with the top down, how about fancying up the backs of the two front seats, which will be highly visible when driving around topless.

Thus the post. On that note, how do I get black aluminum trim or wood?

I'm assuming the "aluminum" is standard like the pic below.

I prefer that over leather.

OP, have you tried building the car exactly as you ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​would like it and see if the numbers come out right to make you & the Dealer happy? I agree with @Tobeit that the current build looks rather haphazard.
