Default TYD progress/pictures

Hey all, after a very long wait, I believe my car is completed. I have a VIN.

Here's where the glitches start...pending on how I view TYD, it says different stages. No biggie.

I believe my car is awaiting to be loaded on the ship.

When did you guys get the final pics of your car? I've only been sent 2 pictures to date, and they were in the very early stages and show almost nothing. I'd really like to see the final stage pictures that others seem to have recv'd. Is it hit or miss? Perhaps I won't be getting them?

I am in the same stage as you-waiting for my car to be loaded on the ship. I got 1 picture of the frame without the chassis about a week ago and have not gotten any other pictures yet so you are ahead of me picture wise. My delivery date is 12/30-what is your delivery date?

Mine is 12/28, which it has held constant since about Sept.

I think it's pretty random. I received my finished side view picture first on 7/2/21 then I received my in production front driver's side view picture 8 days later on 7/10/21. Car delivered on 8/5/21.

I only received 2 pictures when my car was completed, but following the steps in this thread got me the 3rd, and I was able to download them all in hi-res which was enough to zoom in closely and ID my tires. The things we do while waiting for our cars...

As others have commented, photos show up at various times. I received three photos of the pained chassis during the build cycle (highly suspect these are stock photos, not of your specific vehicle). Never received a side pick of my car post production like other who use then in their avatars.

yeah I’m thinking they’re just stock pics. The pics I was sent don’t have high gloss black trim, just the normal chrome. That kinda tipped me off that these pics of “my” car, are really just pics of a similar car.

You can look at the metadata of the photo and see when it was taken.

For me, it was spot on during the timeframe my car was being built, and you can see my EM leather interior, which I can't imagine is very common. I vote that they're legit.

They are photos of your actual car.

good idea, mine:

First: Taken November 22, 05:15
Second: Taken November 22, 09:43

Which is the day the car was completed. If I ever get the just painted and final photos I'll check their timestamps. Actually interesting to know how long between paint shop and final assembly.

The first is rear passenger angle, dash in. Second is driver front angle, brake caliper and rotor visible.

I got two photos when my car was halfway across the Atlantic, and the third “completed” shot two days before delivery

The VIN is actually the first thing produced and has nothing to do if the car is complete. Go to the metadata and check the file named order. It has the photos with the VIN if you have actual photos of your build. If you see null, no photos. I show a 11/18 build start. Still waiting to see the build. Not holding my breath. Dates keep moving back so nothing really to talk about, I get close and the car keeps sliding back. If you order a very basic car you'll have better luck getting a car produced IMHO. Anything else good luck!!

TYD is telling me my car went into production yesterday. But I can't find the file named "order" even though I think I am following all the instructions correctly (refresh, network, preview). Any other hints?

Make sure you update and open the page with the source page already open. This is what you'll see on Mac.
