Turbo allocations are often harder to get than TTS allocations, believe it or not. Not b/c of demand - Porsche just doesn't make many of them.

I get the logic of what you're saying and I've tried to convince myself to do the same on previous builds, but it never works out that way. Some people just don't like low option cars.

A base turbo is not a low option car! It comes with more standard than the lower models. Also, I would not opt for extra wheels or sport suspension and PSE and instead go aftermarket on those and the car will stand out from the crowed more. And if it would not be for allocation and ADM I would even for GT3 touring at that price point. But even the GTS has long wait times and ADM. In any case, if I spend $200k after tax and fees on a car I can wait for the car I really want at that price point.

For me I would go with Chalk seat belts rather than blue since you have chalk stitching it would match. Probably not do the tach and clock in any color since chalk is not available, I think white would be too white with your other bits being chalk. But remember this is your $200K build, do it your way. I'm hesitate to post my new build as most wont like it....but I do.

maybe I will just go with all yellow tachs, chrono, seatbelts..but the red seats and yellow color remind me of mcdonalds...
color wise I love the gts race tex with red tachs and chrono combo but I really need seat vents because I have heard that the interior cabin gets hot due to the rear engine heat..

if I were to keep the red leather seats..what would be the most ideal color for seatbelts and tach and chrono then?

FYI, this will be a daily driver, all season round. Not going to garage it at winter.
I’m genuinely curious - why did you initially spec the variety of colors for the seat belts, tach, etc?

Fair enough - just wasn’t sure if there was some overarching theme you were going for. Either way - obviously get what you want (especially if you plan on keeping it a long time)

I do agree that there are too many colors and i appreciate your feedback. i am inclining twds the gts race tex seats with carmine. i would lose my fav vent seats but will be getting those uniquse gts marked seats.

And the winner of the oddest color-speced interior goes to.......

you mentioned earlier the reason you want cooled seats is because of heat from engine from the back…that’s not a reason to get cooled seats. I am in Florida and they come handy but honestly could live just fine w/o them too. But it’s only good when you live in hot climate…not because of engine heat.

Colors aside, that is too personal and everyone has different tastes, some a lot more different…….

Anyway, on a practical note, I’d just make sure you really want center lock wheels and the potential PIA/extra expense they can be.

I would like to hear more about this heat from the engine cooking to interior making AC completely inadequate so much so you need cooled seats to survive, and therefore ditching a part of the gts spec you really want .
I only have 750 miles on mine ( only had it a week ) have loaded the kids in the back near the supposed inferno and everyone seemed to be just fine.

I installed a rotisserie and a 2 hour drive and the chicken is perfect!

I hear this is unique to 992s and possibly other vehicles would be better that have lower ADM, short waits and no interior color customization! Would remove lots of stress from his life! But on a serious side why would you not have your spec complete - if you got a build come up they locked tomorrow you should be ready to move on it.

hehe, maybe i was overly concerned about a gts owner you tuber's feedback of the reason why he put the vents seats..i am strongly encouraged to go back to the gts race tex seats!
