Glad to see that color on a non-GT car! I’ve been saying that W85 will be the PTS color I go for on my next car.

I haven’t seen any blue alcantara. It is odd that the stitching on the fuse box isn’t also chalk but that can be an easy (but not inexpensive) replacement. Also the leather steering wheel cover should be blue I believe. I have truffle and my steering wheel column cover is truffle. See what the dealer can offer you to swap out free first from Porsche and then add other pieces you want on your own.

IF your order for the items that you specc'd was not filled, you can reach out to a Porsche Vehicle Personalization & Accessories Analyst in Atlanta.
They will contact their guys in the parts department and correct the items that were improperly filled.

Beautiful spec and although you know what happens, this would drive me absolutely batty. Especially at how long it would take to correct.

Given the amount you must have paid for all this nonsense, it should be as you were told it was going to be.

Why you care about the fuse box cover in leather is beyond me.

Could not agree more. Details matter and all these nuances that only we obsess over make the experience that much better. No one should be accessory shamed on a Porsche build - if you want that fusebox covered in leather with deviates stitching, you do you while i admire my aluminum looking gas cap.

Not to go off-topic, but what will you do with the "Airbag Warning" stickers on your sun visors? Can they be peeled off the alcantara? I used covering stickers on my plastic ones (718).

I just ignore them; have for years.

I reached out to Exclusive Option to see if they can help me. Maybe they can make a Graphite Blue shifter boot "while we are in there". No word yet back from Porsche regarding these items.

Man I do love this car though. Certain elements of the car feel like my Cayenne Turbo and others feel like my GT3 Touring. It's a nice daily driving compromise.

I'm determined to get these leather bits fixed! The car is worth it.

Is your race-tex headliner graphite blue or the gray/black color? I ask because I am about to lock down my 2023 992S with truffle brown interior and wanted the race-tex headliner but only if it is in truffle brown. My SA said race-tex headliner only comes in the gray/black color.

The headliner is Graphite Blue, as are the Race-Tex seatbelt outlets. Just the sunvisors are black and Exclusive Option is going to recover then in Graphite Blue leather and Chalk stitching. So you should be okay with the Truffle Race-Tex headliner and Truffle leather sunvisors.

Frank at Exclusive Option is helping me fix all of these items and while we are at it he’s providing a leather shifter boot and covering several items in the center console (think shiny black plastic) with Graphite Leather w/Chalk stitching. It should be gorgeous when done. My Porsche dealership said they would take care of me so we will figure that out later. I said no worries, they can just provide me a 3RS or 4RS allocation.

I'm just excited that we finally found someone who actually ordered the leather covered fuse box cover!

I’m glad Porsche offers options to suit so many different people. My non GT builds are modeled after my classic 911’s. I go for sunroof delete, as few electronic gadgets as possible, manual trans, all performance upgrades, as light as possible, pop colors, lots of leather and ideally a monochromatic interior that isn’t black. This 992 reminds me a lot of my PTS 993 C4S with Special Wishes interior.

But that’s just my thing. Glad that we have variety out there and people can get whatever they want to.

@getto822000 : Just want to compliment you on your positive attitude in your comments. It's really refreshing that you are not casting blame and focused on getting your car how you expected it to be. I hope you can get this sorted out and enjoy it for years to come. It's not a color combo I would have ever considered; your car looks amazing. Congrats on your car!
