Shouldn’t be. I only use Chevron or Mobil from busy gas stations as those have always worked the best for me.

Tried the 2nd Wi-Fi obd2 adaptor which stayed in and had power but 2 apps didn’t connect to the car. Gave up and ordered a cheap ancel wired device and will try again. No idea why nothing is connecting to the car when others on here have used them without issues.

Just as an FYI since some of you are struggling - iCarSoft POR 3.0 works fine for reading and clearing codes on my MY22 992.

I’m very close to shelling out the cash for the icarsoft. I was trying to use cheaper code readers which should’ve worked.

I am very cautious as to where I buy my fuel, but there is always a chance of bad fuel even at a tier 1 station.

Yea me too. Oddly shell is top tier but every car I’ve ever had almost has a small throttle delay when I fill up there. Next tank I switch to Mobil and bam I feel I gained 5-10hp. Lol

So just to close this out. My cheap Ancel wired device synced right up. No stored or pending codes.

I just got a Veepeak in anticipation of installing sport cats at some point in the near future in case they throw a CEL. So would there be any codes I could read now if I hook it up? I can buy the OBD fusion app.

This code hasn’t come on again so there are no messages on the dash.
From what I can tell, the Veepeak is just an OBD II code reader, and will only give you generic codes.
OBD Fusion app only gives you generic codes.
Regardless, you need a scanner that will read factory codes.
I just got an Autel MK808 TS, and it will read the factory codes. It's less than $600.
You can't expect a sub-$100 scanner to give you anything meaningful. These days you need to spend around $400.
I have had no check engine lights in 3300 miles so far but I ran a scan anyway and found 31 stored faults. Most of them seemed to be data errors. The car has been driving fine.

Do you know how few refineries supply all the gas stations in the US? There's only 130 in the US.
The independents all get their gas from the big refineries. I asked the gas truck guy at the local Stop & Shop gas and he said the gas came from Sunoco. Another independent said their gas came from Irving.
California only has seven refineries.
The actual chances of getting bad gas are very slim.

Had to have the tank drained it was full of some type floating crap that got into the fuel system.
Got it from having to fill up at a dumpy little indy gas station in the middle of nowhere!

I've had very similar symptoms with my 981S. Hesitation and then drop in power during acceleration and then reduced engine power. After restart all good for some time and then again, more often. Turned out to be high pressure fuel pump. Get a OBD reader and post the codes

Just to keep you guys updated, Car is at the dealer for 2yr service.

Shuddering with the same code/message happened on 11/3, 12/8, 12/29, 1/24, 2/2.

Dealer said the stored code was for the turbos when spooling up.

They reset everything and road tested and said it was fine and to bring the car back if it the message comes back. I’ll try to find out what the exact code was tomorrow when I pick the car up.

Have a feeling this will happen again since it happens sporadically 1-2x per month but nothing else they can do at this time.

I had this issue in my 991 C2S. One of the injectors was bad. They replaced it under warranty and the problem was solved.

I have had the same error message and shuddering while accelerating briskly in my low milage 2020 911 4S. The dealer thought they had it figured out, they replaced a fuel inlet valve on cylinder 6, which took care of the problem for a while, but the same issue just recurred a few days ago.... like others report, turn off the ignition and restart, the message is gone, and the car runs fine. I'm going to let my dealer look at it again, and probably they will keep it for a few more weeks, Do any members have any thoughts on what is going on?
Thanks

After throwing some Techron fuel system cleaner in the tank last month, car went 2/24 until 4/14 with 0 issues. By yesterday it returned. So I wonder if it really is a fuel injector issue like another poster said above. I need to go in for tires and a rattle soon so will have them check again.

Last time they just said they don’t know what it is and reset the codes (they said related to turbos) and sent me home.
