Default Have I overfilled the oil?

2021 992 C2S
Today, I installed a new oil filter and 8 liters of oil. After the car warmed up, oil measurement gave critical warning and said "Add 1.3 liters". I then added the 1.3 liters. The amount I drained was 8.51 liters not including what in the old filter. Please help a 73 year old to determine whether I have an overfill. TIA

What is your electronic “dipstick” indicating after the additional oil was added? I would go by that.

For what its worth, when i changed the oil on my '22 C4S the other month. I let the hot oil drain for a LONG time (was also working on the exhaust). I initially filled with 8 liters, and the electronic dipstick read 3/4 full after 10 miles of driving or so. I subsequently topped off with 0.5 liters, and it reads perfect level after that. So... 8.5 liters in total for me.

However as @icanthelpit said - I would trust your electronic dipstick more than drained volume/anecdotal experiences of others.

Same experience for me except i eventually put in almost 9 (8.75) liters to get to full.
