Was kind of hoping this update would fix the 'forgetting audio settings' annoyance but no joy:

1) Got in the car to go to the store this morning after car sat overnight, remembered settings.
2) After 1/2 hour in the grocery store, remembered settings
3) 5 minutes to get gas, remembered settings
4) Went home, left about 3 hours later to get haircut, remembered settings
5) Got a haircut, 15 minutes, forgot settings.

No rhyme nor reason. Sigh.

Is this update for 2022s only or do 2021s get it as well (other than Nav package) whether or not you have Porsche Connect services or not right?

if PCM6 is what got the update then PCM5 cars (21) wont get the update I think, its different hardware .. just a guess

Most probably right. Was just hoping there was a remote chance of ditching my remote garage door opener which is an absolute embarrassment in this day and age. But between that and gassing myself... I'll keep the remote. A year old car and no retroactive update...excellence is expected...yep...

I'm finally going to connect my garage opener to wifi lol, been opening the garage with a remote opener .. but going to use set up an app to open the garage for my other car instead of trying to set up my 911s garage built in thing (so still using a boring old remote ) ...heard too many stories of the digital stuff not working properly lol
