I think you'll be just fine with this option, just make sure you choose a good installer since that will be the difference in how good it looks and how long it will last.
Agree. It would be ridiculous for OP to go trade his new to him Gentian for a Chalk one. Time wise and fiscally. Go for it, today's wraps can be gorgeous.

Just three words: Installer. Installer. Installer.

Curious, if you find a top notch installer using the gold standard of product, what could one expect the job to cost in full for a 992?

I see u r in Ct - I used Straight Jacket in Guilford to wrap my BMW 135i cab.
Pricing also depends if you want door jambs and other “visible” parts wrapped.

Agreed. I'm an old man (62) and I've seen some absolutely fantastic wrapped GT3's, Teslas and M cars. I'd do it in a flash if color meant that much to me.

The latest in wraps is liquid wrap which is actually automotive paint sprayed on that can be peeled off just like wrap. I'm getting my GT3 color changed as we speak from Guards Red to Slate Gray. Best option. It looks like paint because it is paint but it can be removed exactly like a wrap. Also, because it's paint, they can color match whatever color you want.

don’t do it. The removal process isn’t as straightforward and overspray is a huge issue. Stick with a traditional film.

the newest technology is actually colored PPF which is a wet install and protects like PPF but is colored. 10 year warranty

Do you get PPF and ceramic coating on your wrap?

Already done. Had the same concerns but then I saw cars in all three stages: prep, completed, and in process of removal and was sold on it. Most of the cars they were applying it to were $200k+ cars.

I have colored PPF on my Macan. Much better than wrap but still has issues. Mostly, it doesn't have as much flex as wrap and seems are necessary in certain areas. Liquid wrap not only doesn't have this issue but, because it's sprayed on, it doesn't have the tension that wrap or PPF films have so adhesion and durability are much higher.

Do you have direct experience with liquid wrap?

Is liquid wrap a lot more expensive than traditional vinyl?

That blue is way better than chalk. Keep it stock.

I know this is an old post, but wondering where you ordered the Inozetek film from?
Their website only shows European and Asian distributors none in the USA…

Any shop can order it for their customers. My shop uses them plenty and now Inozetek has their hybrid ppf wraps out.

There are several cars in my area (Dallas) with Inozetek wraps. It really looks very much like paint. I'm sure installer is key though. I'm very nitpicky and can usually spot the imperfections of wraps within 30 seconds but I was looking at an Inozetek wrapped R8 for several minutes and did not know it was a wrap.
