My 992 GTS order has the GT Steering wheel. There is a black 12 O'clock Marking on the wheel. Is there a way to configure it so the marking matches the deviated stitching? Or alternatively, is there any after market products to replace it with a colored marking?

The red is almost a perfect match. If you apply it carefully it looks perfect. It may take you a couple of tries to pull it tight enough to get it the exact right width. If you don't like it then you are only out a couple of bucks. I switched from red to yellow for better contrast. Once you get used to having a 12 o'clock, it seems naked without,
Not sure how this would turn out- but I would try a thin Sharpie in a nice contrasting color and tape both sides of the wheel so only the stitching shows and carefully color in the stitching on both sides of twelve o'clock markers. Please no flames-just an idea.
If you're covering it on suede this will match it a little bit better since it's made out of a "vinyl coated cloth", so its matte. Bonus is that it should be the perfect width.
However, on leather, I think the 3M 1080/2080 auto vinyl wrap might look better (shiny). Downside is that you're going to have to cut if yourself.

CXX option.
About 4k (at least that was the price for the 991 GT3)
It certainly does. Used tape on my track cars back in the day, always left a mess on the wheel. Doesn’t matter on a stripped out crapper but I’d think twice on nice 200k 992…
I used this from Amazon for $2.49.
It was extremely easy to apply and left no residue when I removed it a year later to check.

Ive used another tape on a previous car and had to replace it often because the glue would melt. It's very easy to clean if so.... but best to buy better quality (amazon link above)
