Default Used GTS prices have softened

Been watching the market for about a month . Prices have dropped.

These are two of many examples of how prices dropped .

1) This car was asking high 190's a month ago . Now its mid 170's .https://main-line.porschedealer.com/...rader_listings

2) This car was asking over 200K and now its under 190 .https://formulamiami.com/listings/20...-7-spd-manual/

The ,list goes on.

Is anyone else sitting waiting for a slot and not looking ? If so this might be a time .

I personally will wait a little longer. The market is getting softer on a weekly basis.
These cars are great , but not worth the value they reached in this crazy market .

Hoping the GT3 prices drop faster. As soon as the delta makes sense, swapping the GTS for a GT3.

I’ve been patiently waiting on 992 GT3 prices to come back down to earth as well.

the prices are dropping, but not sure the delta will change by much . Traditionally GT3 hold better value than GTS , so depending on your entry point on your GTS , try to hunt a GT3 sooner than later as the GTS price will go down quicker.
but again GT3 prices went higher above MSRP , so they have more room to fall. What will help the GT3 prices is the talk about very limited allocations next year.
Actually this is what dealers are doing now to sell cars on their lots that are over priced is by paying high trade in value , but all what this will do is delay taking the medicine.

This just sold at Cleveland Maserati, $149k MSRP, and over 2,100 miles on the odometer.

Do prices tend to drop as cooler weather comes?

Maybe they do, but I think is all about the market...and fears people have. In the end, customers drive the market up or down based on their demand.

traditionally yes, prices start cooling down on sporty cars in the fall and start heating up in mid-late Feb. in preparation for the spring and summer.
this year we will have the usual cool down plus market/economy factors which has to be determined how significant they will be

you will continue to see sporadic sales like these as not every customer is well educated on the current trends in the market .This is why things shift gradually rather than abruptly

I disagree a little, the consumer is more aware than ever with a mobile phone in every pocket.

There are only one or two aerokit cars for sale nationally, and that’s probably an influencing factor.

if it sold close to listing price, this mean 45 k above sticker. Even in the peak of the market this is close to the highest range
agree that people have cell phones , but to get a good feel on the market , you have to do in depth research
also the changes we are seeing are drastic relative to normal times as even well educated managers/dealers are getting screwed by buying cars way above of what they should. In particular buying cars that are a different brand than their own .
this past weekend , a manager was telling me that he has several cars that he is expecting to lose 10 k a car as the market has changed significantly since he got them in on trade . Even he tried to unload these cars by calling the brand dealer and they are willing to take them but will kill him worse than he trying to retail them ..
