Did you try the needle to try and depress the clip and then pull?
So, finally, success. I couldn't get a needle to work but a butter knife (verrrrrrrrrrrry carefully) did the trick. Was able to remove the right side without resorting to either. Thanks again for the help and suggestions here - and stellar customer service from RGS.

Congratulations!! They look great!! Did you insert the plastic knife into that small slot under the trim piece to release?
