After almost a year wait for either a C2S or GTS (GTS interest sparked 8 months ago) and deposits place at most Pacific Northwest dealers for both, a dealer in Boston has offered a GTS allocation.
I could have been very happy with the C2S with the build I was considering; a wanna-be GTS spec;
* Race Tex roof lier
* Race Tex wheel
* manual
* PCCB
* Sport Exhaust
* PSAM
The extra HP of the GTS was never a factor (C2S has plenty of power) the extra ADM for GTS over a C2S was.
AMD from Boston was about half of what I was quoted in the PNW for the GTS.
However, the GTS has most of the above with the added bucket seat option, better brakes and slightly more performance oriented suspension.
Also as a motorsport fan, the spec spoke to me.
After living the in the car configurator for over a year I think this will be my build.

According to SA, I'm looking at a JAN-FEB delivery.....just in time for my 60th!!

 

Both look great in the picture. Congrats and enjoy the journey. You will enjoy the car when it comes to you. The aero looks great. Add the surround view/premium package (you will need it).

If you don't mind sharing, what was the ADM?

 

As much as I love seeing the GTS go for big money, MSRP or pass man. Things are turning in a direction where that money is literally out the window.

 

These dealers are trying hard to get customers to pay ADM knowing that the end is in sight. Buy smart and I hope it’s not a lot more!

Not great but also not too bad if you can do the exact config you want; many dealers in CA asked for $30K+ ... which I think is very crazy.

Also if this is a 2022 model vs a 2023 one, this is even better as the price increase YoY is about $6K IIRC.

Beautiful build and I would get the wing on a GTS. Sun coast Porsche is selling them for north of 5k before paint and install so you're getting a bargain!

 

HA HA...thanks guys; but again after a year on the CC, I know what I want..... except for color that is.
A wing or Aero Kit does not make a GT3.....it a key element on a dream car.
Aero kits have been on multiple generations of 911s and have never resembled a GT3....Wing does not = GT3
Always been a fan of aero kits and now have a chance to spec on my own...cant wait.

$15k is less than I was told by multiple Boston dealers $25k for C2S, $30k+ for GTS. Congratulations.

 

exactly!! Get the wing if you like it. It's not like you slapped a aftermarket part on your car. It's a Porsche option and it's not a GT3 wing.
