Default Sport Classic Duckbill Spoiler

Who wants this spoiler?? I asked for this to be made and it is officially happening! Not a lot to share yet as its in design right now but I was so happy to hear that I had to share! @siberian your wish has come true!! Will post updates and pics as things progress but I was told about 1 month's time it should be ready for production. Let me know if you are interested!

I'd prefer a 992 Turbo spolier for my C2S if I could work that.

I'm curious on how the 3rd brake light will be handled. The sport classic ducktail is taller than the GT3 one so it will block the vertical third brake light. Will this replica have a built in LED third brake light and would you need to get a rear grill without the vertical brake lights? Or would you just keep the stock rear grill w/ integrated third brake light but disable it and run the third brake light on the sport classic ducktail? How would wiring and programming and coding of the third brake light work?

992s seem to be the biggest PITA when it comes to replacing a simple rear wing or lip.

Will it work on a Targa? Probably too big right?

On the subject of the duckbill. I've never seen a duck go backwards. Yet the duckbill moniker suggests a shape reminiscent of something that sits on the front, not rear of the animal. Interesting.

Not sure on that, but I would think so. it may interfere with the truck opening. I can ask though and see if they know.

well its not called a duck, referring to the entire animal or its orientation. Its the shape of the spoiler itself looks like a duck's bill.

I've always thought these spoilers were called ducktail spoilers rather than duck bills b/c they resemble a ducktail:

I can see 200 posts now debating the front and the back of a ..... D U C K...

Yes, @cstlaw very interested. Will we need to remove the entire motor assembly or can we just disable the rise?

Pics, pics, pics and yes, damn you, of course I'm interested.

I was under the same impression (always called it a ducktail), but whether you call it a duck tail, a duck bill, or duck a l'orange, it's a damn fine looking spoiler.

However, I do have the same question that you asked above re: how the third brake light will be handled. I'm very much in favor of an exact replica, complete with an integrated third brake light.

Yeah I guess y'all are right. I know other spoilers on other cars are called duck bills, and I always thought the duckbill came upward with a curve when the bill was open. but oh well, y'all know what I'm talking about!
