Default Commission Numbers - What's behind them?

Called up PCNA to get a status on my 992 as it's disappeared from myPorsche.com

Apparently, I have several commission numbers on my account for various 911 builds. Any idea why that would be the case? Is the dealer parking allocations under my name? If so, what would be the positive / negative impact if any.

The most you should have is 2, I think.

In my case I ordered a 22 and was given a commission number, and when I was switched over by Porsche to a 23, I was given a new commission number.

A commission number is issued for anything in the system. So if your dealer entered order demands, then there is a commission number even if there is not an actual car. That could be why you have a few commission numbers with only 1 car.

Interesting, I mentioned to my sales rep that I wanted a 992.2 C2S Manual or the Carrera T but no commission number. Previously I’ve only gotten my commission number when the allocation became available to spec.
