Hanover Insurance has been great in both coverage and PRICE. 2nd Porsche covered by Hanover for me.

An agreed value policy is a must.

For a run-of-the-mill 911?

Maybe a 911R, Speedster, a GT3/RS, GT4/RS. But a regular production 911?

Porsche Auto Insurance (Miles Auto) isn’t taking on any new policies? I reached out to @FredRenn who said he works there. No response. Called CS & no word on when they will be going back online. My 991 Touring is insured through them, but I’m not allowed to add my 992 Touring?

^ Huh...I just got a new policy with them in the last 10 days for my 993 to replace Hagerty. (992 is insured with the daily drivers elsewhere.)

He’s right though. I just checked the Porsche insurance site and they aren’t issuing new policies. But I’d figure they would at least let him add a car to an existing policy.

That is strange. I just got my insurance through them about 4 weeks ago. Let us know if you find out why they stopped issuing new policies.

The response I was given is Porsche Auto Insurance does not have any insight on when it will be going back online. I was told they would update me when it becomes available again.

Any other pay-by-mile insurers? I’m considering cancelling my policy now.

I use Porsche insurance, it's a 4th car. $360 every 6 months!! Yes $360. $180k value and 3000 miles a year. $0.05 for over miles. You do have to send a photo of the acutal miles on the clock. I just sent my image a couple weeks ago. Porsche hit my checking account a few days ago.

My 2024 911 Turbo S is set to arrive by the end of the month and currently i only have a quote from Hagerty and it is for $13,979 a year as one payment. If you want to do any type of installment it goes up a $1000. I live in Kansas City, MO so Porsche Insurance isn't available here. I would appreciate any suggestions and feedback on the pricing. I have a clean record btw so no accidents or tickets.

Does that have an extra digit in the number? 1,400 would sound reasonable, 13k does not.

Do a $10K deductible. Set a rider of whom can drive the car. Those should help. If it's a primary driver worth $250K $1000 a months is normal I'd guess!!
