After months of waiting, I just got an allocation for a 2024 Targa 4S. I wanted the Targa 4 but was advised that allocations for those are non-existent. So it was either the 4S or the GTS. ETA in Sept/Oct this year.

We'll likely be pulling Targas off the line around the same time.... I waited about 18 months for my allocation. I'll be in germany late september and i keep begging my rep to find a way for me to pick the car up while I'm there...

I was told that Euro delivery has reached full capacity for this year. Next Euro delivery availability is early-mid 2024 (You need a Sept-Dec allocation for those deliveries)

That color combo would be a $25k non refundable deposit by dealer when the order is put in.

If you're looking for loud: the guards red. If you want sorta pts, chalk or Arctic grey. If you want a totally different color, get the GT silver and then go crazy at the wrap shop.

Front Axle Lift helps with resale value and opens up to bigger market that need that to drive their porsche around. Ambient lighting is also nice.

assuming this post showed up in the wrong thread.... but since you bumped it I would love it if anybody had actual production numbers for Targas. They certainly seem rare and for me was much harder to get but curious what the data would show.

Doesn’t seem to be any recent data I could find. But here are the numbers through 991.

Interested in understanding if Porsche has reduced Targa output, perhaps the US market is not seeing as many allocations, or maybe Zuffenhausen only gears up for Targas at certain times of year.

(I realize that wiring harnesses from the Ukraine have presented issues, but this doesn't seem specific to Targas).
Nice build! A few suggestions. Take another look at your drive assistant features. You don’t have surround view or lane change assist. Also do you really drive that often at night? I find night vision a gimmick but that’s just me. Also I don’t find the front lift a need either personally unless you live on a driveway that dictates it’s every day. These cars are pretty high comparatively speaking. But again that all depends on where you live.
