Thoughts on Ice Grey Metallic

Hi all,
I'm curious to get your thoughts on this potential build. I still have 3 months until my build locks. Color wise, I am considering Arctic, Gentian, Carmine, and IGM. My wife likes IGM the least, but reminds me that this is my $250k toy, so get whatever I want.
Build code: https://configurator.porsche.com/porsche-code/PR9GTY99
Here are a couple of considerations for the build.
It will be a purely weekend fun car. No track time. Mid-40s No kids. We have a Cayenne Turbo for groceries/real life errands.
Non-negotiables: I want quad exhaust, but have arranged with the dealership/partner shop to have the diffuser and some other bits painted HGB (so assume that happens). I don't want PCCBs or CL rims.
I really want EM or Heritage interior, but when I test drove an 18-way, it really bothered my back. I'm hoping that changes, but for now, I am assuming that I am constrained to 14-ways. I feel like Graphite blue is a bit of a risky interior, but I'm highly tempted to do it, and try to downplay by the "blue everywhere" with accents, floor mats, etc.
Here is the GT3RS picture that I took as inspiration.

Beautiful! Did you clear your front corner lights?
For anyone looking for a set, I have an extra pair of OEM indicators new in box that need a good home. Was going to install them but my SA beat me to the punch (he delivers all his 911 with them as part of the delivery process). Look especially good on an IGM car! Please PM me if interested.

IGM is a really cool color and yes, very modern as stated above. Time for some fresh new colors. The old standbys are fine but have been beaten to death at this point. The asphalt greys, dark greens, etc. are just to conservative for a high performance sports car. Miami Blue, Lava Orange, Python Green, were a real step in a new forward direction.

Well stated! Interesting, colors must be fun for Porsche to market. PTS is surely a part of this formula, in addition to the three tiers of optional colors - it all makes for a fun and lucrative formula. And … now there is the top level PTS for crazy money. I think the best value between uniqueness and Porsche heritage is to get those limited colors in the $3k option range and hope Porsche pulls them after a few years (like those modern colors you mention). They will be the new classics!

This was after a foam gun wash and dry and Adam’s Graphene Booster. Clear skies, mid-day, south Texas. I hadn’t seen this hue before in my IGM T.

Love my IGM. I thought about Arctic Grey, but passed once I saw AG in person on a couple 718's and other cars from different makes in the wild with similar color. I had not seen ICM in person until I took delivery of my Targa this month. It's a very light metallic gray. Most pictures on internet don't do it justice. It is not white. Look at the difference in the paint color versus the white parking space lines. The metallic is subtle, but evident in bright light. Color really pops against the GTS black trim. These photos were taken in morning in some shade.

The difference is actually dramatic. Look at the post above with a pic of the GT silver Carrera GT and the ice grey 911. The ice grey is very light, almost a metallic white, while GT silver is close to a light grey metallic color.

Yes, the color difference is notable between IGM and GT silver ... but not the price, as they are both offered on the 992.2 as an $830 upgrade!
