992 bonnet stripes - where to buy?

The factory ones are a special order item.
I had to provide a VIN and proof of damage to even get a quote on a new set, which came back at $880 and 3 month lead time.
I’m checking aftermarket now. The shop that does my PPF is going to evaluate it in the next week or two when the car goes in.
Regarding PPF, mine was cut to fit around the stripes (…and now I need new stripes).

My PPF installer was adamant that my OEM center stripe go under the film. I live at 7,000 foot elevation and the sun (UV factor) is intense. He gives stripes 6 months without being covered before the vinyl will start cracking. As far as film adhesion is concerned, unless your looking at the edge of the stripes (mine was the factory installed Porsche stripe in black over a Racing Yellow paint job) you can't see the film at all. As has been mentioned here very often, the quality of the PPF installer will determine the final result of the job. Fortunately, my installer is considered the best in our area.

Like everything in life, there's pros and cons. I understand your guy's arguments. The flip side is not wanting to remove PPF should I decide to either remove or change my stripes. Stripes are cheap. PPF is not.
