Magic my original delivery was 9/24, lock 7/15. Maybe Porsche isn't having issues with parts on your build and you're on target!!

I was also rolled, but (funny) my dealer didn't know anything about keeping '22 pricing.

Is that a dealership thing or a Porsche thing?

My dealer told me the same. They're "looking into it".

my dealer didn’t know initially, but my SA called me back and said Porsche confirmed they will honor the ‘22 pricing.

pretty nice news. 911s aren’t going to be widely available any time soon, so starting even a little under msrp will help hold value.

My dealer claims correctly the emails went out yesterday explaining the price lock and the rolling over to 2023. Again maybe some dealers are completely lazy and don't read emails from regional managers but I'd say some dealers are going to hustle buyers and play stupid. Sorry guys I grew up with a good friend that owned a dealership, not Porsche. I've been told stories how he screwed people and how the car business works!! I thank god I don't have to sell cars for a living. For those that know nothing about the price lock I'd call Porsche and ask with your order number tell them the dealership did not say anything about the price lock. Plus I would never buy from that dealership again!! I had the clowns at Beachwood Porsche in Cleveland claim I knew the F/I guy made a mistake and I would be arrested if I didn't send $15k ASAP! This was ~3 weeks after the deal!! I actually said something didn't add up and was brushed off. Do your home work and get your dealership to send a sales agreement with a 2023 and the price lock! I did this early today!!

I agree with you, but keep in mind Monday is a big day off in car sales. So many SAs may have been out.

I asked my SA and he has a response within 30 min, that yes, 22 pricing would be honored. I felt that was a great response time, even if he missed an email!

they are dealing with a lot of bumped customers right now

Hope you’re correct. My GTS Cab allocation was also May and still shows a 09/02/22 production date with 10/21/22 delivery as a ‘22 model. I’ll be quite happy if it rolls to a ‘23 at the same price.

BTW this is why I have the relationship with a Porsche dealer 350 miles away! We do deals where he makes money and I get the car I want. I send others to him and deals get done correctly!! It's about relationships and working deals so both are happy! Win/Wins deals!! Being an Airline Captain gives me the ability to actually shop anywhere in the USA and have found the best of the best!!

Does anybody know the cut off date to roll from a 22 to 23 model? After several delays, my GTS Targa is scheduled to build 8/26 and completed 9/9. It still shows a 22 model. Last week, before everyone started getting rolled into the 23 model my SM told me I would be a 22 model. It seems to me the cut off would be associated with the build date and not the allocation date. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Where does everyone find their VIN number? I can’t seem to locate one, or a place one might be filled in on my TYD Thank you.

I went to Kings in Cinci even though there is a dealer that I can walk to. They were great to work with. Absolutely zero shenanigans, very communicative and they did a great pre delivery/delivery. Even switched my tires pressures to comfort before I got there. Finance, in and out in 15mins. Only one single question about add-ons...Them- "do you want any of the add-on's" Me- "Nope" Them "Okay" and we moved on. Would have bought from the dealer down the road, but they couldn't get any allocations as you said.
