Gave up, and of course now have an allocation!
After waiting for a ‘21, then a ‘22, and then a ‘23 across multiple dealerships, I finally bought a good CPO ‘17 cab.
…and of course after a week of ownership the ‘17 breaks down & is in the shop.
…and of course today I get the call that a ‘23 allocation is available!
—
I’m frustrated that I finally get the call after years of waiting that I say must now say ‘no’ AND not be able to drive my 911 to make me feel better about it.

Agreed...unless it's an insane ADM you have to pay on top. With inflation and no signs of 992 demand slowing you could possibly even sell the 992 at a profit once it's delivered.

Why are you saying "NO"?
I mean...unless there's something missing from your adventure, I don't understand why you'd say no. Are you happy with your 2017? I mean, hey, that's a rocking car as well!

$0 ADM — yes, I said no.
My reasons:
- I just don’t believe the ‘23 is worth $60k more than my ‘17 purchase price.
- I believe he market will have shifted from a Porsche sellers market by the time the car arrives.
- I will have FOMO as soon as I see the ‘24 and my ‘23 hasn’t yet arrived.
- Some of my favorite 992 features are no longer getting delivered.
