Question Two Dumb A$$ Questions?

1/ The upper vents on either side of the sport chrono dial. No air blows from mine. Are mine defective? How are these controlled? Is this a programing issue?

2/ My matrix design headlights dynamic cornering Lights do not appear to work. I know the full individual 84 LEDs are not programed in the USA but should work as a single light source.

Wassup with this?

#1 another question easily answered by cracking open the owner's manual:

On the second question. My first 2020 992 4S had Matrix lights, and when I cornered it did dynamic cornering.

I actually opted for PDLS+ on my 2022 Targa 4S (due to matrix not being yet enabled for the US) and was a huge expense hoping it would. I have noticed that the PDLS+ actually moves a lot more when cornering than the matrix did. The Matrix was subtle left or right depending on which way I turned. The PDLS+ is a bit more pronounced for whatever reason (maybe when fully matrix activated that would change). But you should be able to tell if you are cornering with the matrix. It was noticeable as far as I recall.

This is a "is it plugged in" kind of troubleshooting question but....
should we assume you've already gone in the PCM ->home -> air conditioning and selected the various vent options to make sure you don't have those turned off?

To the OP - I alway run the upper vents when I have the HVAC on. However, when I want to open my windows/roof, I often turn off my HVAC entirely by lowering the fan setting to "off". When I want the A/C back on - I press the "Auto" button again. Sometimes, but not every time, I've noted that pressing the "Auto" button does not turn the upper vents back on as they were when I turned off the HVAC, so I have to turn them back on as identified below.

Still haven't figured out what steps cause the upper vents to not come back on when I turn the HVAC back on.

Same. Mine seem to reset when A/C is on auto every time I start the car. I’ve
turned them back on multiple times, and am just sick of doing it now and leave them off

It was an eye opening experience when I finally was able to control all the vents. The user interface is easy to use... I didn't know it was accessed in the PCM... spent way to much time looking for switches to control the vents.

I looked in the manual and finally figured out how to get cool air on my feet.
It was welcome on a hot day and my feet were sweaty in my sandals.

I haven't driven our car much at night, but on our inaugural trip from PEC Atlanta it did seem that the headlights were tracking as I steered around corners.

I didn't even know those were vents. So much for dumb a$$.

I checked mine after seeing this and they do blow, and they have a little direction changer control as well for left to right.
