Help With Another Color Choice
I have an allocation for a Carrera S that I need to turn in next week. It is for a 2022. I am really struggling on color and options. My wife loves Racing Yellow and I must admit it does look nice but being an older retired person I am not sure I could drive a yellow car? The other option is Gentian Blue. Wife says it is ok, I really like it. The two builds are below and I would appreciate any advise. Both builds have deviated yellow stitching which I know would look great on the RY build, not sure on the Gentian particularly because of the Chalk Seats. Any other feedback on the builds would be really helpful. This will be my 7th Porsche but my first time ordering exactly what I want. Thanks

I prefer the gentian blue myself. Also, I could do without the yellow tach, chrono and seatbelts on the GB build. Matches the brake calipers but It looks odd to my senses - Let's see what others say. I couldn't tell the color of the deviated stitching, is that yellow too?
Yes, I have a GR, but I do like more understated colors like GB.

Get the RY but forgo the RY deviated stitching and other yellow accents. It's too much.
Same critique of the GB with all the yellow highlights. The GB looks great with the yellow calipers.

Who's car will it be?
If it's the wifes, get her the R yellow she likes.
If it is yours, then go with the G blue.

Thanks for the input on all of the yellow accents, my Guards Red 997 has red belts and console and I have always liked that. But I do agree all of the yellow accents together is getting to be too much.

All the yellow accents on yellow car are absolutely OK.
All the yellow accents on blue car are not so much OK especially with Chalk interior. Change yellow accents to white/chalk and blue car will be absolutely amazing. Yellow PCCB on Gentian blue looks simply amazing.
Btw buy whatever you like no matter other opinions.

Agree with above, lose the yellow if you go with GB. One option is this with the chalk interior.

If you feel funny about driving a yellow car, it probably will not disappear with forum members saying get yellow.
Get the Blue and match it with a slate grey/chalk interior. A yellow and slate grey combo is going to be a tough resale should you ever decide to sell.
