Default Significant delay in delivery!

Yesterday my 992 4s was supposed to arrive at the dealer on 7-22. Now it says 10-28! Anyone else experiencing significant delays?

Nevermind, read your post wrong.

What does your current status on TYD say? What milestone?

My page has blank dates, either early morning software update of we now have some delays!! Nothing would surprise me anymore.

It’s in the in production stage. Quite a significant delay if it is actually being made at the factory

Wonder what is going on?
1. Either they are doing the annual shut-down and these builds didn't make it to completion before that, or...
2. supply chain issues?

Head over to the GT3 forum…same exact thing is happening over there, mostly to cars currently in production. There has to be some part that is causing these cars to be delayed (hard to pin down because there are a multitude of specs).

We’re in our third year of these types of supply chain delays. It’s really nothing new and not a big deal.

This is part of the “experience”.

Heck, even before the pandemic and the invasion of Ukraine, those of us who bought in 2019 faced a huge EPA delay where our cars sat at port for months. Yes, sat there… in the US, and not being delivered due to regulatory requirements.

Keep in mind TYD sometimes bounces all over the place. I’ve had my delivery dates shift by several weeks back and forth.

My page is now back to pending like it was a new order. It was entered in March the day the allocation came out. I'm losing interest fast!!

I'm waiting on a Targa 4S that was supposed to build in July for a late Sept arrival to Canada (Ontario). Apparently we don't have TYD here, but we do have BTS (behind the scenes) - which apparently will be available to me when my build gets closer. Mine was to be MY22, I wonder if the delay will push these builds to MY23?

I'd say the order I have is now a 2023 with a price bump. I'll wait for the Sales Manager to call and decide the best course of action for me. I don't want a winter delivery if it goes that way I'll punt and take my Z06 position and be very happy I put that order too!! I get to go to the factory and hand build the engine with my signature!!

Interesting. My C4S begins production next week and the delivery date hasn’t slipped….yet. Still 7/8 completion and 8/19 delivery.
