Have you tinted your windows on 911? Are those rear defroster grid lines ever in danger when you need to strip off the tint film?

I’ll let you know after July 16th. The shop that did mine is redoing the tint on the rear glass.

They mentioned that they did a 12 year old bmw a few weeks ago, and when pulling off the tint, it removed some of the defroster lines.

They did my car a month ago, so hopefully that won’t happen, but always a chance.

On my 2022 Targa I did not. I think Cabs and Targa look better untainted due to with the top down looks somewhat broken up, specifically if the top down and windows somewhat up, etc. I think the coupes look great tinted, whereas I prefer the Targa (and subsequently Cabs) look better without. Of course if I lived in a very hot climate (Southwest, Florida, etc.) - I might still tint a Targa or Cab..

Not a fan of the look of window tint. In fact I had it removed from the GT3 I recently bought used.

I've tinted all of my cars but when my 911 arrives (first Porsche), I plan not to tint.
