Every time I look at the configuration as much as I like the build I'm not "sold" on Gentian Blue and I keep looking at Shark Blue with a blue top as the alternative.

Here's my question to the forum - is Gentian Blue a sophisticated dark color that "pops" - or does it only stand out when freshly washed and waxed under certain lighting conditions?
You decide if it pops or not. As far as I'm concerned, there is no choice. I get more compliments on the colour and interior combination than I could have imagined.

I went back and forth with GB and SB...originally wanted Blue top for either. SA strongly suggested to stay away from blue top, as color does not match either, obviously. Said black top is the conservative choice with strong color like SB. So I went with SB black top. full black leather with chalk stitch. locked on June 30 and delivery ETA is late Aug early Sept. very stoked.

Indeed … However there was a YouTube video that called it genital blue … I almost pissed my pants.
Therefore it’s officially Genital blue in My wheelhouse.
Thank you for the clarification.

I went with GB for my Coupe because I wanted it to pop a bit more than Night Blue (yes, it was gone to PTS-land when I ordered my Coupe), but I also wanted the car to be less loud than SB. It's going to be a DD, so a little more subtlety, a little less in your face. Love both colors. They serve different purposes for me, but imho you can't go wrong with either.

Shark over Gentian blue for me... GB is a weird bluish purple which I only like in a few lights.

Shark blue is much brighter and louder, if you like that, but the color is much more even in almost all lights and I consider it to be a lot more fun over GB which seems much more conservative to me.

If I do not get to PTS my GT3, I will certainly be going with Shark blue.
