I think the biggest issue with the color is that the online configurator is the most off of any color I've seen. The difference between GT silver and IGM online looks like nothing but it's actually much different.

I keep seeing posts that it’s ‘too close to GT silver’, it’s ONLY that way on the configurator.
I feel like it’s a disservice to folks to inform their decision if you’ve never seen the color in person.

this was the exact inspiration behind my spec, and I can say that 1) Andreas Preuninger commented on what a beautiful color IGM is, and I trust he’s seen a million Porsches in every color imaginable, and 2) it looks SO much better in person than any of these pictures could possibly show, trust! I’m fine with my car being a rarity but I’d be doing the community a disservice at the same time.
After seeing this color in person, I admit that it does more justice to the 992 than the base white I chose for my GTS. I still believe a 992 white GTS is really cool but IGM is reacher and highlights the details of the car in a deeper way.
At the time of my build locked, I had just seen it on a Taycan in the showroom at the dealer under artificial
lights and it didn’t impress me…well, I was wrong
Anyone have pics of ice gray metallic exterior 992 with graphite blue/chalk stitching for interior? Extra bonus points for chalks seat belts and white tach/stopwatch. Thanks in advance.
I saw a GTS in person the other day with a Riviera Blue interior. It was spectacular! Pictures do not capture this paint well, but in full sun it has a pearlesence that is beautiful. I am personally more of a white fan, than a grey/silver fan and this thing made me go home to look at new colour options.
Another good example of this color under fluorescent light. Hard to capture, but I feel it's good to post when you see it looking right. Thing is, on the Taycan (which I believe it was it's launch color) it does nothing for the design of it. Colors that pop like Guards Red look much better on the Taycan... now on the 992, this color looks just absolutely fantastic, especially since it coordinates with so many interior option choices.
