Ice grey is a great color which really needs to be seen in person. I picked this up last week on a partly cloudy day and I'm very happy with the color. My last two cars were white and wanted something a little different.

Porsche Fremont? I was there on Saturday talking with your sales guy while snapping pics of your car. We both commented on how great this looks in person. Much more pearlescent quality to the paint than I'd realized before seeing your spec. Beautiful car, congratulations!!
indeed, that was my car! Thank you so much for the nice words! It’s my first new car, and first Porsche (well I drove an ‘85 944 back in HS in 2001 but it was my dads hah). It’s been a lifelong dream, truly, and speccing a new 911 is an amazing blessing but also SO stressful as it may be the only time in my life I get to do it - pressure was on to get it right!
anyways, aside from pics of the GT3 RS, there were 0 992s with ice grey metallic online at the time, brand new option, so I hope anyone in my position that’s on the fence goes for it. It was a huge leap of faith but hearing Andreas Preuninger talk about how beautiful the color was in his Top Gear interview, I felt like he has seen every color on a Porsche and knows a thing or two. Glad I did.
One more thing... in the configurator the color looks more like Dolomite Silver (maybe they reused the same graphics when they removed that colorway)... it doesn't look like that at all in reality (in my opinion)
I think the biggest issue with the color is that the online configurator is the most off of any color I've seen. The difference between GT silver and IGM online looks like nothing but it's actually much different.
