I’m taking to my dealer about Gulf Orange now. I think I’m mostly settled on that plan.

What are they saying about PTS lead time?

I was told it increases delivery time by 6-8 weeks and that it was at capacity in 2022 (to the point that they stopped taking orders for it), but open again now for 2023 orders.

I’m looking at placing a December order though for my preferred May/June 2023 delivery. I’ll have to see what PTS allocations look like at that time.

I don't like orange cars but Lava is an exception. It looks fantastic on the 911. OP if the car is a treat or toy spend the money and get exactly what you want. If it's just a DD that you're going to dump in a year or 2 pick a standard color. AG looks good in person and CR is sharp. And I agree, enough of the greys already.

No decision yet. Ive been doing a lot of PTS builds as of late but still waiting for an allocation anyway so it doesn’t matter.

If I don’t do PTS it’s likely GB or RY.

I’m liking Gulf Orange the more I look at it. Bahama Yellow is nice too. I like Ruby Star, but I feel like it goes better with silver wheels, which I won’t be getting, so I’m not optimistic about what Ruby Star Neo looks like later this year.

fwiw my dealer had a Bahamas yellow gt3 recently and it was a show stopper…gulf orange is great too

So I know that LO and MB are off the options list, but are they off the PTS list as well?

you can see the PTS options in the configurator. It doesn’t have Lava Orange or Miami Blue.
