Default TYD dates and emails

I was getting daily emails a couple weeks back letting me know my Change Freeze Point date was a couple weeks away (6/14). And a target delivery date of 9/23.

Those emails stopped a week ago and I’ve been checking TYD daily with no changes until today 6/14 where I was hoping to see I’ve moved on to the next phase. No luck.

Now it says Freeze Point is 6/20. No email or anything. So that’s pushed out but on the plus side, the car delivery date is now 8/26 vs 9/23.

Is this normal behavior? I’m reaching out to my SA in parallel, but was curious if others have had similar variability or suggestions.

In my limited experience with TYD, what you’re seeing is exactly the experience I have had. Multiple seemingly random changes to dates. Followed by lack of updates. I never got any emails other than the initial invite.

Same here my lock was 6/14 now 6/20 delivery date was 8/19 now 8/5, my SA related that my car is in preproduction.

Also my Porsche portal has disappeared, not sure why.

I would suggest taking the information with a grain of salt, it is not perfect but you are at least getting constant information from the factory.

You have a general idea as to where the car is, may get pictures overall for me a positive experience.

Hey Folks - here's my journey to date:

Design lock 4/27
Production scheduled 5/12
Production started 5/30
Production complete, ready for transport, in transit to Emden 6/2
Arrival at Emden 6/3

That's been it. The On Vessel date as discussed on other threads is a function of a vessel being at Emden and the number of cars ahead of yours to be loaded. My on vessel date was 6/10 and has not changed. A lot of folks have said the wait at Emden before boarding a vessel is 3-4 weeks. I'm curious as to when TYD will reflect current timing.

Summers tend to pass by quickly - let's hope this one is no different.

Hello Dudewith992,
Same story here, my car arrived to Emden on 6-8-22, expecting shipping date per TYD is 6-10-22. Since 6-8-22 no updates, but expected arrival date changed to 7-15-22 from 7-22-22. The port of arrival is San Diego, CA.
