Differences between GTS & 4 GTS
Any major differences between the GTS and 4 GTS besides 2wd and AWD? Anything difference with the Brakes, suspension, diff, etc?

No extended fuel tank option on 4GTS, and more weight.

Pretty sure the extra 8k is only for all wheel drive and the little "4" on the back

The AWD system that Porsche fits to the 992 is pretty fantastic. Power goes to the rear wheels almost exclusively, going only to the front as needed. You can drift an AWD 992. It’s an excellent system.
On all surfaces, the AWD cars have slightly higher limits as result of the ability of the car to put the power down — it’s not just about snow. AWD helps everywhere. There’s a modest weight penalty that’s a fair trade given the capabilities of the system.
I put more than 35k miles on my 992C4S and would totally spec the AWD system again.
Porsche has been making AWD 911s for decades. It is much as tradition and heritage as everything else with the car.

Ollie Kew at Top Gear discussed this recently.
Here’s his take:

FYI, I opted for a 4 GTS for maximum daily, all-weather security from city to beach to woods to mountains across California, Oregon and Washington State.

I am sending mine for the Winters out to Wine Country and away from these Chicago Winters so no need for AWD

How about the SPASM that comes on the GTS. The config talks about thicker sways and a rear helper spring. Does an S with SPASM get the same or is the rear helper spring unique to the GTS?
