Default 992 production

Any update on base Carrera production delays? Last I read the 992 factory was shut down at the end of March for Ukraine wiring harnesses. I later read a WSJ article said there was limited production at the wiring harness factory.

The factory shut down turns out to have been false.

I have a build in June. And I have not heard of any delays. Just locked in my options last week.

Mine (also a base model) just went into production today (step 4 on Track Your Dream) right on schedule!

Per my SA, this did not affect sports cars.

I am not, but I placed my demand order in July 2021, received allocation 11/2021, and finally getting the car in 2 weeks or so, should be at port tomorrow.

First time buyer, but I also ordered when economically, things were unstable.

I am having a hard time finding a dealer that don’t have ADM. The wait list for the GTS is long as well so even if I commit, they can’t give me a date on when I would even get an allocation. What a ****ty thing, when you finally saved up enough, you can’t even get it. I hope the tides will turn to give the power back to the consumer soon.

2 years for a GTS is what my SA told me when I took possession of mine on 03/31. They are #3 National 911 sales. Maybe the coming recession, end of basically free financing and associated stock market correction will change that duration to the short side.

Since Porsche sales is more of a "order takers". I now I deal with the sale manager and he claims the 992 keep flowing out. the other models not so much with the harness issues. He claims my July 2022 should be pushed up.

I'm the same as above. No ADM but I've been waiting since September 2021. The last my SA told me was that anything on the lot would have an ADM but if you're ordering - and willing to wait - it's no ADM. But that was a few months ago now - again, been waiting a while - so it may very well have changed to ADM across the board.

Paying MSRP, my SA did tell me that they will only sell to local, no out of state sales. I was VERY fortunate, place my demand order on Jan 20, received my allocation on March 10 with a June 2 build and an Aug 5th at dealer. (C2S cab MT) i have waited 30 years to finally be in the position in life to get my dream car, to say that I'm excited is an understatement!
