Cat issues with 992
I have a 1 year old Siamese (pandemic stupidity thanks to kids) and ever since I got 922 GTS, the cat keeps climbing on the car leaving pawprints and hair. Is there a easy solution besides getting a car cover? Previously the cat never climbed on the cars and now she climbs on SUV as well as the car. Maybe leave the garage door open and hope the cat runs away for good??
Thanks,
Thanks,

You can try a squirt gun. The short term annoyance with the water spots can often train a cat (amazingly enough) to avoid places where it seems to get hit periodically with a squirt of water,
Not real sure about a car cover. If the cat starts to slip . . . . out come the claws and they'll pierce almost any car cover I know of as they scrape down the roof and/or hood of the 911.
Another option comes to mind. When I was much younger we had several Siamese cats. They preferred high places from which to survey their kingdoms. So much so, they would spring from the floor to the top of an open door in one smooth leap landing perfectly on the top of the open door. They'd then sit there for quite some time. Maybe if your cat had the choice of a place higher than the car roofs it might "prefer" that to the cars. Just a thought.

Buy a eufy motion security cam on Amazon for like $40, and mount it somewhere in the garage. I have one in the kitchen and you can setup custom defined motion zones within the camera’s view, at specific hours, so that if it picks up motion (in my case I didn’t want the cat on top of the counter area, in your case define a zone on the car roof) in that zone it’ll sound a really loud alarm and scare the cat off. Works well.
And .. squirt water when/if you can actually catch it in the act. They’ll learn that quickly too.

And here I thought it was an issue with the catalytic converter.

I have a lot of cats (involved in animal rescue) . They don't scratch my cars because I dont scare them off the car . Paw prints wash off . Meet Stretch and Beebo . They used to love my former Boxster without even one scratch . I decided to take then in , socialize both of them and they are indoor cats now .
