Active aero vents never close on C4
Hi All
Apologies in advance if this is something that's been discussed before, but I have a 992 C4 (non sports design package) and noticed that the front active aero vents/fins stopped closing even when I'm parked (not in sports mode) as I recalled/maybe imagined it doing before. I first noticed this when my local dealer swapped my wheels to winters. I was guessing it was related to my winter wheels not having the temp sensors and was hoping my summer wheels which enable the temp gauge of the tires would remedy the issue but it didn't when I went for the swap. I was wondering if there's some setting in the car that enables and disables the active aero front vents or am I imagining things that they close when I'm parked?(I checked if they would close overnight as well) When I explained my situation to my local SA he said if there's no error on the dash, then there's nothing wrong with the car. Perhaps this is normal and it has to do with the temperature of my car when I turn it off but again never seen it actuate since. Recent local avg temperature around my area are around 40-60F throughout the day if that has any relevance. There's no other local Porsche dealer in the 100+ mile radius to get it checked out so wanted to check here if anyone had insight. Thanks for any advise!

Can't recall ever seeing the vents on my car being closed when it's parked.

Cool, thanks for your insight aggie57. Perhaps they dynamically actuate when I drive and in certain conditions and there is nothing wrong with my car. I was thinking the vents would close whenever I'm parked and would look like the below but guess it all depends.
