Question Message after startup ?????

My 2022 has PCM 6.0 and after the car finishes it’s start up sequence a message pops up;
“Activation was Completed” with an option to “read out”
I have no clue what this is, does or did but I’d like to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Go into the settings and disable those pesky messages. All that message means is that your PCM is booted up and working. Why one needs to know, you'll have to ask the Porsche engineers that one.

Mine does that every time too. Didn’t know it could be turned off. Definitely will be doing that!

I haven't found a way to turn it off. I thought I had turned off notifications but the damned message still pops up. Any additional direction appreciated.

So you’re saying that while I’m signed in turning off notifications won’t work? I have to sign in as guest and then turn off notifications???

I do not think you have to be signed in as guest, when I got my 2022 Targa, I had this, I went into settings, notifications (there will be 4-5 check boxes), uncheck them all - and you will not get the notification. The one that says notify on startup is the one that will come on every time you start. IIRC it was the first or last line item (I am not in front of my PCM right now - so do not remember exactly).

There are check boxes for OTA update notifications, etc. You can check or uncheck whichever you like. But the one on start up/activation is the one you would get every time it starts up.

I’ve been unchecking all the notifications that I thought could relate to this start-up message, and I still keep getting the startup notification. If anyone succeeds at stopping this non-sense, please post a detailed description of your steps.

Same here. Tried for a while today and could not figure out how to turn it off, so I came back to this thread hoping for more detailed guidance.

I found it!

Settings
-> Notification center
-> Vehicle notifications received
-> Updates (uncheck this box)
