My 992 C4S is a Feb 2020 delivery (just before the s*** hit the fan with Covid) . I’m at 15,000 kms.
Today I noticed my alcantara headliner is starting to drop on the passenger side by the door weatherstripping.
I’ll be contacting the dealer early next week, and the car will be traded soon to the dealer for a 2022 TTS that finished production last week and should be arriving early June.
However, has anyone experienced this? Picture attached. I hope it’s not too difficult to fix.

my 2021 TTS was delivered last June with that exact issue (passenger side eerily similar in appearance to yours) . Porsche replaced the entire headliner under warranty.
Research the Cayman 981 forum where headliner sagging is very common. EU required change to more eco friendly and less efficient glue a few years back. Covered by warranty. Dealer has to remove the quarter side windows to fix.

I reported it in the next service visit. My SA just tucked it in and it has not reoccurred since. However, see the latest comments in the post from someone else who had the roof liner replaced.
Is there any official Porsche documentation like a TSB on this headliner issue? It's always good to have it to show the SA who just wants to tuck it back in versus do the real fix.
I’m not sure how long it has been like this, possibly a while, but I doubt it has been that way since delivery. I think I would have noticed it sooner than 26 months.
My SA is very good, not worried that they won’t fix it properly.
