Default PCM Email Display

Hi guys,

i have an Android cell phone as a hotspot for my car and it has two email accounts, a hotmail one and an exchange one. At the moment, I am getting texts and emails on the PCM as required, but I am only getting the hotmail ones, not the exchange ones???

It is a managed Exchange server? Meaning is this corporate email?

That may be the reason. Could be an Active Directory setting within Exchange server. . See if your admin can assist.

Off topic, but: I am not sure whether a phone (any phone) can be used as a hotspot for PCM6. Can anyone enlighten me?

Not really sure about that. PCM 6 has a sim I believe so it IS a hotspot technically. Not sure if it's an open one or not. I don't have my car yet to verify. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

I had the same problem and found a solution with the assistance of my server administrator.

In my case, the Exchange email was not set as default on a Samsung Galaxy S 20.

Once it was made the default email, I started to receive my emails from the Exchange server.
