For those of you considering a PTS Blue or Grey hue I wanted to post photos I took of samples I looked at today. Not all colors are included (Nardo Grey and Azzurro Thetys are misssing, for example) but at least you can see some colors side by side.
I could only use an iPhone and indoor fluorescent lighting but I figured it may still help some of you.
The problem with Blue is that Shark Blue is like a PTS considering it is one of the better blues they made available recently that is not PTS. I actually never considered Blue until Shark Blue, which my Son really wanted me to get, and I am looking forward to my April delivery
May be consider a Slate Grey which has some nice History

Fair point. I bet if you looked at PTS numbers, the greens outnumber the blues this time. Shark Blue existing is probably one of the reasons.
I remember Voodoo Blue being super popular in the 991 generation, but the overlap with Shark Blue is very close.
I think the blues are classic along with the greens. I know Shark Blue gets a beating at times, and I suggest if it was PTS people would be all over it. My mind it’s a cheaper version of PTS if that’s an option for you. Many forget next go around Shark Blue may be PTS ……such as Aqua blue which was standard on a 911. Summation if you’re going for a blue and it’s close to PTS and you can’t tell the difference from afar go with Shark or a historic like voo-doo. Good luck.
Kinda hard to tell with just the paint samples. I'd use PTS Explorer to get a better idea of how it'd look: https://www.ptsexplorer.com/
Also, I agree that grey is a waste of money, so I'd go for blue. Despite what a popular book might say, there aren't actually that many shades of grey.
I'm a fan of deep sea blue. Grey PTS is a waste, I agree. But I'd never pay 12/15k or whatever for a PTS color. That said, I am paying some 2 or 3k for a CXX option - the 991 style porsche stripe across lower sides, in a color to match the hood stripes.
