Buzzing sound when accelerating
Song playing: end of the line by devildriver set to pretty loud
I reversed down the driveway and waited for the temp on that lil gauge to climb, in the meanrime carplay connected and started playing some music - thats when the rattling started. Im too lazy to pull panels off the car, I just reached to the circled spot and left my hand there for a few seconds. (i have big hands and they can exert a decent amount of force, but I was just casually keeping my hand there, YMMV) The music was still playing, so speakers were still booming, after placing my hand there the upgraded buzz/rattle immediately stopped. Drove ~75-100 miles with no subsequent buzzing/upgrading buzzing (rattle)
I'm not sure if this is the original buzzing which got worse this morning, if it is then its clearly coming from the circled area, which I assume is the same area ohniner was referring to.
If thats the case, and my applying presssure with my hand while speakers were on fixed it, then I think the problem might be related to some adhesive used around that area. For reference the night temps are dropping now, so there is a 30 degree differential between night time and day time. I'm not sure but temperature could be affecting the adhesives adhesion properties
Example: comes lose a bit which leads to temporarily rattles or buzzing, which subside after the adhesive regains full adhesion or whatever.
Im not a professional anything so this is just my guess
Anyways, in the meantime if anyone develops buzzing try just placing your hand and applying pressure to the buzzing area - its less intrusive than pulling panels or pieces off, relativelt simple to do, and will probably work
